The Eternal Whale

The Sign of the Deep

9. Thal’Zhaan

Beneath the black waters sleep memories older than kingdoms.
Those who gaze too long into the deep
will one day realize that the deep gazes back.

Those born beneath the sign of the Eternal Whale carry the voice of the ocean within their hearts.
They are wanderers between memory and future, seekers of truths long buried beneath the waves. Their souls are deep, silent, and unfathomable like the oldest seas of the world.

They sense currents others can never perceive.
Ancient songs, forgotten voices, and lost secrets call to them as the moon calls the tides. Many born beneath this sign possess extraordinary intuition and perceive hidden truths long before they are spoken aloud.

Yet the deep never grants knowledge without a price.
Those who descend too far risk losing themselves within the dark waters of the past. Melancholy, solitude, and a longing for the forbidden often follow the children of this sign.

The Eternal Whale serves as a warning:
Not every voice rising from the darkness speaks with kindness.

When the tides fall silent
and the moon rests black upon the waters,
a song from the forgotten depths shall call your name.
But beware —
not every voice was meant to be answered.
